Unveil the secrets. Escape the ritual. Survive the island.

A carefree voyage across the ocean turns into a nightmare when a sudden storm wrecks your boat, leaving you stranded on the shores of an uncharted island. You awaken alone, your friends missing, and a chilling silence enveloping the dense, mist-laden forest.

But you're not alone.
A fanatical cult, obsessed with the plague and purification through sacrifice, inhabits the island. They believe that by offering human lives, they can cleanse sins and achieve salvation. To survive, you must uncover the island's dark secrets, locate your friends, and find a way to escape before you become the next offering.

I enjoyed the  chance to play your game and the overall experience. A good start for your first adventure/horror. I feel like I might have missed something while playing, but thoughts are at the end of the video.

Hi Stickbridge,

We just saw the video you made of Echoes of Darkwood — thank you so much for playing and sharing it! It means a lot to see someone explore the atmosphere and story we worked so hard to create.

We really appreciate the time and effort you put into your video. Watching your reactions was both exciting and insightful for us as developers.

Your video is actually the first ever gameplay video of the game — and for that, you’ll forever have a special place in our memory. It’s a milestone we’ll never forget.

Also, thank you so much for your feedback and thoughts throughout the video — hearing what worked (and what didn’t) helps us grow and improve as developers

Don’t worry — you didn’t miss anything. You actually reached the good ending!

All the best.

hello if you'd like a free voice actor for any future games, let me know! I'd be happy to lend a voice! (For reference I voice acted in Lurking Danger by Farelas!)

Thanks so much for reaching out — that’s incredibly kind of you to offer! We really appreciate your interest in being a part of any future projects.

We actually checked out your work in Lurking Danger — great job! It’s always inspiring to see talented people contribute to indie games like that.

We’ll definitely keep your offer in mind as new projects take shape. It’d be awesome to potentially collaborate in the future.

Thanks again, and all the best until then!

Awesome indeed. The purpose of the offer not only helps small developers—especially those who'd rather not use AI voices as placeholders for characters—but also helps me in my journey to become a more efficient voice actor.

With this free service comes the (if not already obvious) slight lack of skill in terms of the acting part of voice acting. But with time comes better linguality when working with developers to try to make something nice!

I'm also in the works of another game with a developer who is writing me a script as we speak! So we've got one and two—hoping to hear from your team for a third!

Great game!

Thank you! I'm truly grateful you took the time to check it out. I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
